If you ever ask me how one of my paintings is going, I will most likely say "slow but steady". After the initial rush of laying out the composition and defining general colors, my pace slows as I focus on the details.
I started this piece back in May 2020. The photo on the left captures my progress in June, and the right shows my progress to this day. It may seem like I'm almost done with this piece, but in my eyes, I'm not even half way.
