While I've been making progress on my painting with the river and trees (title pending), I've also been working on other pieces. I'm happy to say that I've completed "Low Tide", a 20 x 16 in. piece displaying one of my favorite places: Provicetown, MA.
I like beaches, but I love low tide. There is something magical about it I can't quite explain. Maybe it's the discovery of sea life that's been hiding under the water, or being able to walk far into the ocean's territory on new land, or the peaceful nature of the subdued waves and the patterns the sand and the water make. All I know, is that low tide on Cape Cod heals me.
